Recruit workers from Bangladesh without inheriting the risk

ECI sources, screens, assesses and verifies skilled, semi-skilled and general workforce in Bangladesh, then coordinates work permit documentation and deployment to your site, for employers hiring one specialist or five hundred.

What happens after you send a requirement

No account, no gated download, no obligation. Enquiries are reviewed during business hours: Monday – Saturday, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Bangladesh Standard Time, UTC+6).

The problem

International hiring rarely fails on supply. It fails on verification, definition and timing.

Six things go wrong repeatedly when employers recruit across borders. Each one has a specific answer in how ECI runs a mandate.

You cannot verify who you are actually hiring

Every shortlisted candidate goes through identity, document and background verification before you interview, so the person on the video call is the person who arrives on site.

CVs say “skilled”, the site says otherwise

Skill claims are assessed practically against your job description before shortlisting, and the assessment format is agreed with you rather than assumed.

Hiring 50 to 500 people is a different problem to hiring five

Bulk mandates are run as projects with batch planning, parallel screening, interview scheduling in waves and staged deployment rather than one long queue.

You are managing recruitment across time zones you cannot cover

ECI runs the in-country work (sourcing, assessment, documentation, medicals, travel) and reports to a single coordinator on your side.

Visa and work-permit paperwork stalls at the candidate end

Candidate-side documentation is prepared, checked and tracked to your immigration timeline, working alongside whoever files on your behalf in the destination country.

Workers arrive unprepared for the job or the country

Pre-departure briefing covers the role, the site, the employer expectations and practical arrival information, and coordination continues after arrival.

Employer solutions

What ECI actually does

Thirteen services that run as one process. Employers usually engage the whole chain, but each stage can be taken on its own.

International Recruitment & Staffing

End-to-end overseas recruitment from Bangladesh: requirement analysis, sourcing, screening, assessment, verification, interview coordination and deployment support.

Skilled Worker Recruitment

Trade-qualified and experienced workers, welders, electricians, technicians, operators and mechanics, screened on documented experience and practical assessment.

Semi-Skilled Worker Recruitment

Production operators, kitchen staff, warehouse and facility roles: candidates with relevant task experience and the aptitude to reach full productivity on your process.

Bulk Recruitment & Mass Hiring

High-volume mandates managed as projects: batch sourcing, parallel screening tracks, scheduled interview waves and staged deployment against your site readiness.

Candidate Screening & Shortlisting

Structured filtering against written employer criteria, delivered as a defensible shortlist with screening evidence rather than a stack of CVs.

Immigration & Work Permit Support

Preparation, checking and tracking of the candidate-side documentation your immigration process requires, coordinated with whoever files on your behalf.

How it works

Ten stages from requirement to post-deployment

The sequence is the same whether you are hiring five people or five hundred. Only the project structure changes.

01

Submit Workforce Requirement

You send the roles, headcount, skill level, work location and contract terms through the Hire Workers form, email or WhatsApp. The more precise the requirement, the faster everything downstream moves.

02

Requirement Analysis

ECI reviews the request with you: job descriptions, realistic skill definitions, documentation the destination country will expect, and what the recruitment plan needs to look like for your volume and timeline.

03

Candidate Sourcing

We source against the agreed profile from our candidate network across Bangladesh, including districts outside Dhaka where trade-specific labour is concentrated.

04

Screening & Shortlisting

Candidates are filtered on experience, trade competence, physical suitability for the role, language ability where required, and documentation readiness. You receive a structured shortlist, not a stack of unfiltered CVs.

05

Skill Assessment

Trade and practical assessment appropriate to the role, from tool and task demonstrations for construction trades to service scenarios for hospitality. Assessment format is agreed with you in advance.

06

Employer Interview

We coordinate interviews in your preferred format: online video, recorded assessments, or in-person panels in Bangladesh. Scheduling, interpretation support and candidate logistics are handled by ECI.

07

Document & Background Verification

Identity, passport, education, trade certificates and prior employment references are checked, along with background checks appropriate to the role and destination.

08

Visa / Work Permit Support

ECI prepares and coordinates the candidate-side documentation your immigration process requires and works alongside your appointed representatives. Requirements and authorities differ by country. ECI supports the process; it does not issue permits or approvals.

09

Travel & Deployment

Pre-departure briefing, medical and clearance coordination, ticketing and arrival planning, so workers reach your site prepared and on an agreed schedule.

10

Post-Deployment Coordination

A named point of contact after arrival for onboarding questions, documentation follow-up and replacement discussions where your agreement provides for them.

Regulatory procedure differs by destination country and by role category. Stage 8 in particular varies, and ECI supports the process rather than controlling its outcome.

Industries

Sector-specific screening across 17 industries

A caregiver and a scaffolder are not the same hiring decision. Screening depth, assessment method and verification standard are set per sector.

Construction & Engineering

Site trades and civil engineering workforce for contractors working to fixed programme dates.

Manufacturing & Factory

Production workforce for plants that measure success in output per shift.

Hospitality & Hotels

Guest-facing and back-of-house teams for hotels and resorts hiring to a service standard.

Healthcare & Caregiving

Care and healthcare support staff, screened to the standard a care setting demands.

Engineering & Technical

Qualified engineers and technicians for industrial, energy and infrastructure operations.

Skilled Trades

Certified and time-served tradespeople, assessed practically before shortlisting.

Why ECI

Credibility you can check, not adjectives

ECI has been placing workers internationally since 2020. Here is what that actually buys you.

Verified before you interview

Identity, documents and background are checked before a candidate reaches your shortlist.

Assessed, not asserted

Skill claims are tested practically against your written job description, or against your own trade test.

One accountable partner

Sourcing through deployment handled by one team with one named coordinator on your mandate.

Careful about what we promise

ECI does not guarantee visas, timelines or outcomes that belong to other authorities. What we control, we commit to.

Leadership that carries institutional weight

ECI is chaired by M Akbar Ali (BPM PPM, BA (Hons), MA in English (DU), MBA (NSU), LLB, PhD), a former Deputy Inspector General of the Bangladesh Police. Day-to-day operations are led by Managing Director Shahiduzzaman Shahed, with Mannan Hossen Hridoy as International Marketing Director and N M Omar covering IT and finance.

For employers, that matters in one specific way: verification and background work in this industry depends on knowing how documentation and clearance processes actually function. That is not a marketing claim, it is why the verification stage is where ECI concentrates.

What ECI will not tell you

Workforce sourcing

Why employers source workforce from Bangladesh

Bangladesh is one of the world established labour-sending countries. For an employer, the practical arguments are these.

Depth across trade categories

Bangladesh supplies labour across construction, manufacturing, hospitality, agriculture, facility services and marine trades, so a single sourcing market can cover mixed-role projects instead of several.

An established outbound employment system

Overseas employment is a long-standing, formally regulated part of the Bangladeshi labour market, so candidates, training providers and documentation processes are familiar with international placement.

Candidates with prior overseas experience

Workers who have already completed an overseas contract are available in most trade categories. ECI screens for that experience whenever you ask for it, because returning migrants tend to onboard faster and leave less often.

Scale for volume mandates

Large-headcount requirements can be filled from a single sourcing market rather than assembled from several, which keeps screening standards and deployment scheduling consistent.

Cost structure that supports long contracts

Employers hiring at volume can plan multi-year contracts with predictable workforce costs. ECI does not quote market wage levels. Salary is set by you and by the law of the destination country.

English exposure in service and technical roles

English is widely taught and used in Bangladeshi technical and service education. Language level is assessed per role rather than assumed across the board.

ECI does not publish wage levels or cost comparisons. Salary is set by you and governed by the law of the destination country.

Hiring somewhere else?

Send the requirement and ECI will tell you honestly what it can and cannot support for your destination.

Immigration & deployment support

The candidate side of your work permit process, handled properly

Employer-sponsored immigration usually stalls in one place: candidate-side documents that are incomplete, expired, inconsistent or wrongly attested. Across a bulk intake, that becomes the whole timeline.

ECI works to the document list your immigration representative or the destination authority provides, checks each document before submission, monitors expiry dates across an entire intake, and coordinates attestation and legalisation steps in Bangladesh. Deployment (medicals, clearances, ticketing, pre-departure briefing and arrival planning) is coordinated from the same desk.

ECI is a recruitment and workforce services company. It is not a government body, an immigration authority, a visa-issuing authority or a licensed legal practice, and it does not grant, approve or guarantee any visa, permit or immigration outcome.

Questions employers ask before they start

Send your workforce requirement (roles, headcount, skill level, work location and contract terms) through the Hire Workers form, by email or on WhatsApp. ECI turns it into a written recruitment plan, sources and screens candidates in Bangladesh, coordinates your interviews, verifies documents and backgrounds, supports candidate-side work permit documentation and coordinates travel and deployment.

Skilled, semi-skilled and general workers across 17 sectors, from welders, electricians and technicians to production operators, hospitality staff, drivers, caregivers, security personnel, agricultural workers and general labour. Requirements are screened against your written job description rather than against generic skill labels.

Yes. Large mandates are run as managed projects with batch sourcing, parallel screening tracks for each trade, scheduled interview waves, consolidated documentation tracking and deployment staged against your site capacity. Both individual specialist placements and multi-hundred intakes use the same verification standard.

Your requirement is converted into a scored screening checklist. Candidates are filtered against it, assessed practically where the trade allows, and put through identity, document and background verification before you interview. Anything that cannot be independently confirmed is reported to you as unverified rather than presented as checked.

ECI prepares, checks and tracks the candidate-side documentation your immigration process requires and coordinates with whoever files on your behalf. ECI is not a government body, an immigration authority or a licensed legal practice, and cannot grant or guarantee any visa or permit. Those decisions rest entirely with the competent authorities of the destination country.

ECI recruits from Bangladesh for employers worldwide and has completed deployments to Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Moldova, Belarus and Romania. Those seven countries describe existing deployment experience, not a limit on where ECI accepts employer enquiries.

At minimum: the job roles and headcount, the skill level required, the work location and country, the salary and benefits package, contract duration, working hours, and your expected deployment date. The more precisely the role is defined, the more accurate the shortlist will be.
